I first picked up a camera at the age of 9 years old when my next door neighbour's dad gave me what 'I think' was a Pentax K1000. From that point I fell in love with ‘the camera’ and at the age of 15 years gained my first job with a Commercial Photographer in Belfast, Northern Ireland! Four hard years later, and a year in the Middle East, I decided to put the camera down - still young, impressionable and having witnessed too many unpleasant sights through a camera lens, I was encouraged to find a ‘proper job’ so photography became a ‘hobby!
Some years later, with encouragement from friends and family, photography became a permanent feature back in my life - and many more years later in March 2016 I opened my first studio in Northumberland which was situated on the fabulous and inspiring Wheelbirks Estate.
In January 2020 I relocated to the North West and will be looking to pick up where we have left off and establish myself in the North West region.
